- Reviews:A couple of tree shaded benches here provide respite for human companions while our canine lords romp and ear-bite. The City is kind enough to heavily mulch this yard annually, which helps to keep good boi from getting too muddy. There is also a running water supply in warm weather by the gate. Ample parking. A Port-a-John is stationed nearby. This OLEA has separate small dog and other dogs areas.By Christopher Field (3 weeks ago)Nice big open area for dogs to run around. It was nice that they also had a small dog designated area. Easy to find parking, clean. Would recommend.By Samantha Hall (a month ago)As a dog trainer and owner we tend to avoid going into dog parks. Many owners come in and just let their dog run around while they scroll on their phones, read a book, or maybe chat with other owners. Many owners don’t pay good attention to their dogs or the other dogs in the park. From what we can see most dogs have not been exposed to structured socialization and play. We have seen numerous instances of rough play that is not managed properly, dogs jumping on people or invading personal space, toy possessiveness, improper social introductions, etc. All of this is a recipe for someone or some dog to get hurt. Please br mindful of your dog and your surroundings. We often avoid going in and instead play, train and socialize out side the fenced in area off to the side. We take physical and mental health safety seriously with dogs and we want them to enjoy and benefit from going out into public spaces. If we could we would certainly make some changes. The dog park does have a few positives. We have met some nice people and their dogs. There are water fountains right at the entrance to the off leash area for resupplying water, and there are some decent shady areas to help stay out of the sun on those hot days. We also enjoy getting to talk with owners and meet other dogs, we just prefer to do it in a safer way. We also appreciate all the inquisitive owners who see us operating outside the off leash area and ask questions or say hi. Overall we can do better for ourselves and our dogs. If you need help with your dog or want to help us make the world better for dogs and people please reach out.By WTF K9 Information (a year ago)Great dog park which is fenced completely off. - Reviews:I visit the small dog park a few times a week. The space is definitely large enough for my miniature pincher. Met several pet owners who were proactive in watching their dogs. Things can go south quickly when owners don’t supervise their pets. Its definitely a positive experience each time we visit. I also enjoy taking my dog by the nearby riverside.By Rishel Schimmel (4 months ago)Luna and I love watching the sunrise here! Very nice dog park in the city!By Destiny (11 months ago)Nice enough park. Plenty of parking. Very little shaded seating for people as well as little shade for the dogs. No place to get water.By Michael Harris (6 months ago)Always friendly dogs. Starting to get a little muddy. Very open, and big enough to walk like a track while your dog playsBy Pat Soeder (3 months ago)Our favorite dog park. Plenty of parking, lovely drive in, lots and lots of trees which is wonderful on those hot days. Generally a good mix of dogs and people. Everyone we meet is friendly. People there also get that dogs are dogs and some like to play rough. As long as tails are wagging, everybody is happy! Nice little path around it for those who like to do laps while there. Only downside is no water source but most people have water in their car and will fill a bowl or two.By Satya Devi (a year ago)

Best park in the city. Great crowd, almost no problems, it’s spacious and well maintained.
Park is filthy, both my dogs got pink eye and kennel cough at this park. It’s an eyesore in the middle of a beautiful area…no enforcement of rules.
I live 3 houses away and love having access to this well maintained park. That said the crosswalk on Virginia Ave has fast moving traffic which needs addressed by either a speed bump or stop sign to protect pedestrians and pets
The park seemed nice it’s was wet so no playing
The really keep up with the property
Very nice Great Place for the kids and the dog park is great!!
