- Reviews:Nice park but a major highway runs over it. A small dog enclosure and a basketball court sits under this highway, and a small amount of street parking is available. There is also a short bike path towards the DMV and the Temescal neighborhood.By Ton T (6 months ago)My new favorite playground. : ) so many things you can do. My boy loved there.By Jasmine Kwack (a year ago)Very cute playground. Playset had lots to run about with twists and turns so lots of fun. The spinning roundabout/merry-go-round with the climbing gym is also lots of fun but can be dangerous so watch the kids carefully. Playground could use more big kid swings.By Jennifer Chang (5 months ago)This park was excellent for my children. You can spend quite a bit of time there. Overall, a great park for those who live close by. The construction is child friendly.By Warren Perry (5 months ago)This is a great neighborhood park. I have been bringing my daughter here since before she could walk. Often in summer they daylight the creek for the kids to play in. Between this park and western park a block away the area is great for families. The farmers market just down the greenbelt at the DMV is a Sunday treat.By Chris Specker (6 months ago)

- Reviews:Large dog side. Gates at opposite ends of the park are excellent. Great views and plenty of seating. Would like to see separate gated entrance for large and small dog area since it can get pretty congested. My Borzoi has a very high prey drive and comes from field trial lines, so crossing paths with small dogs presents concern. As mentioned, not much shade. Certain areas get pretty deep water/mud when it rains, so just be aware. Water fountain area can be inaccessible after rain due to very deep puddles.By Shannon Gourley (5 months ago)Large dog side – lots of fun and space for fetch. There’s no shade so wear sunscreen. Great access to flat trails for a walk after running your dog as well. I also saw maintenance come by and power wash the water fountains for human and dog, so it’s good to know they’re being cleaned 🙂By Yvonne Chang (a year ago)Beautiful grounds! We enjoy that our dog can either get exercise in the designated dog play area or on the pavement paths around the marina. Love that it’s sand in the play area. Make a great option after rain since it’s porous and not muddy. Workout equipment and active areas for humans with a park for kids. If you have a dog, just be a good citizen and clean up their poop. Also, mind your dog manners. We had a dog jump the fence from the path and immediately snap at our ironically docile 10 month old 90lb Rottweiler puppy and the owner was waaaayyyy too non-chalant about it. We’d met the dog before and were impressed by his athleticism. Today we were disappointed in this experience mainly because of the owners lack of response to our polite requests for him to come grab his dog. (It’s the black dog with the white patch wearing the studded collar in the picture sniffing the creamy colored dog. The owner is a tall slim guy with long hair.) But the park, aside from un-picked up poop, is awesome. A favorite in addition to Alameda Dog Park, Point Isabel, and Joaquim Miller Park.By Melissa Archie (in the last week)Best dog park in the area. Clean and spacious. Plenty of room for your puppers to run around and play. Some obstacle course items as well to spice things up.By Geo W (8 months ago)Wonderful dog park, beautiful views and doggy water fountains!By Germaine Olson (7 months ago)

Nice big sandy area w trees in the middle. Chairs for sitting. Water for dogs. Separate small dog area. Well kept and a good number of parking spaces.
Probabky the best large and small dog combination parks in Alameda/Oakland area. Both parks are very spacious and have the added advantage of being mostly sand. This means that both parks drain pretty quickly after rains and there’s not significant mud for dogs to track around.
Highly recommended.
I love this dog park. It is huge. It is amazing. It is clean. It is section for big dogs and a sexy for a small dogs. I have a big dog and a small dog and they play together with other dogs. It was just amazing
I love this dog park since it has a large fenced off area for my dog to run & play with others. There’s even a section for small dogs. I would definitely come back again
As long as owners pay attention to their dogs, things go well. My dog loves to run and play with his pals. Please watch your dogs so if they get into a tizzy about something, you’re there positively to help out! TY
