- Reviews:*I initially gave this park a 5 star review but have to update it unfortunately* My girl loves it here and overall I like the community of dogs and pet parents and the park itself. It’s large, pretty safe, and the pool is awesome. However, there needs some MAJOR landscaping maintenance. I am a groomer that puts countless hours into my dogs coat, not only for her looks but for her health. There are sticker bugs throughout the park that I was not aware of, as well as some sticky substance somewhere in the park. You should be able to take your dog to a “nice” dog park without it ruining their coat. I had to shave off my dog’s feet and leg hair completely because the sticky substance and stickers damaged, matted and ruined her fur. This is not acceptable at all at a closed park meant for our furry companions to socialize and exercise.By Honey Bee (a year ago)Great place to bring your dog and make socialize with other ones. Love the pond where they can swim especially during the hot season. Plus, 2 water fountains outside to wash your dog after they played.By Marco Ugolotti (4 months ago)We love this park! Our dog always has a blast. Other reviewers complain about the green water but I’m more convinced it’s the treatment chemicals they use to keep the pond clean. Our dog drinks it all the time (you can’t stop him) and he’s never been sick. Dog owners are usually pretty nice too.By Kristina Saiz (2 months ago)Good park with water stations, poop bag dispensers, benches, trees, and the main attraction doggy pools on both large and small dog sides. One confusing thing is the gates have pull handles where you push. For a guardian stop by the power lines, this park makes good use of the space with a path down along till you almost hit the highway. Another gate at the far end would be useful. The wash station is outside by the parking lot, all cement so no mud, but dogs who hate baths may run into parking lot.By Jon Luisi (a year ago)I’ve enjoyed coming to this dog park in the past because my dog loves to swim and it is overall well maintained. However, I have to give a 2 star review because of the appalling condition of the water when we visited today. It was FILLED with mosquitos and bright algae green. Unfortunately, my dog jumped in before I had a chance to inspect the water, so I hope he doesn’t get sick. To top it off, the fresh water hoses at the front were turned off, so I wasn’t able to rinse off my dog (or myself) until getting home. I imagine there has got to be a public health violation for the sheer volume of mosquitos that are breeding in there. Bummed we wont be going back anytime soon.By Lauren Coles (9 months ago)

- Reviews:One of the best dog park in houston. It’s a pretty big park with lots trees and great views. Some place for me to hide while my dogs run wild. Great views with 3 dog pool. 2 for big dogs and one for small dogs. The water is pretty clean too. They also have a bath station which a bench is located there too. Convenient! The dogs owners here are super friendly, lots of different breed. Fun for a dog lover to play with different dogs. My dogs are super friendly so I don’t have to worry about they run into trouble. And dog owners watch their dog pretty closely. Only thing is they close bit early. Other than that everything is just perfect. Fun for my dog and relaxing for me. Will always bring them back here.By Na Li (a year ago)This dog park features 2 swimming holes in the larger dog park as well as a track in the middle. The locals are friendly, and there is minimal waste in the park thanks to the poo bags which are always stocked. There is also a park specifically for smaller breeds that has its own swimming hole; and a track that surrounds both dog parks with some good forested areas to explore. The best part is that the park has a large dog wash station that I am able to shampoo and wash my dog at after he gets dirty. The only con I can think of is that this park is prone to flooding so avoid days after heavy rains, or prepare to get muddy.By Josh Boyd (a year ago)Place over all is spacious for dogs. I was in the small dog area and my dog had a good time playing and running. The water fountain needs to be replaced or repaired it shoots the water out of the bowl and its missing the bell that goes in the middle that covers the drain pipe at the moment it has the rusty pipe sticking out I think it could be dangerous for dogs to drink from the fountain. Please fix it also its leaking water. The little shower in the small dog area is also not working hoses are disconnected.By M Nolasco (a year ago)All around each time we bring our 2 Harlequin GREAT DANEs it’s a completely a super good and fun time always…although our boy is 220 lbs and our girl is 130 lbs and attracts both visits and their fur babies alike–it’s always a blast to see the interactions of us all when we come together for the common good of our petkids…it’s always clean neat spacious and quite breezy especially on its best days like today. We often only bring them here in the early morning hours when it opens because often it’s too hot between 11am-6-pm in this Texas 100+ degree temperature; oh and all evening visits WE RARELY DO….at least for us it’s too overwhelming: they definitely draw an excessive amounts around them and us at one time because of their size and its 2 of them:) so we always opt-out taking them around that time. Furthermore, we love the washing off water area and the pond(s) once we finish to head back home! And our forever kids love how they are free to roam run and explore this great place, its views and other friendly breeds and their families; which is a plus for us as well. It’s a 5-star bark park indeed and we highly recommend it to anyone who has pets!!!By Kimberly Lott-Castleberry (9 months ago)Love it. They may need to think about making a section for elder dogs. My fur babies have fun. 10/22/22 there is a wasp nest they need to remove from the canopy area at the small dog park.By C A (Jellie&Me) (6 months ago)

The dog park is the place of having a community within dog families around. It’s nice to have such an awesome park in this area! There are sections for smaller dogs and bigger dogs so everyone can come with safety. There are pools for dogs so they can jump into the water as they wish. The shower is set outside of the segregated park so you can wash them off accordingly. People can come with family and walk around doggies!
A beautiful time indeed. Will come back again. 🙂
Cheers 🥂
Love this doggy park on highway 6. Had to keep wiping off his drools the first time we were there. There is a big and small dog park. Both park had a small pool for the doggies to swim. The place is clean with plenty of benches and green space to enjoy the green day with your fur babies.
This might be the biggest dog park Jasmine & Otis have ever been to. They were so excited to be here, it was obnoxious. At first we had to be told by a worrisome small dog owner that the “over 20 lb dog area was on the other side of the fence”. I thought we were in the correct designated dog size zone because this space was very large and usually the small dogs are given a smaller area than the big dogs but because this park is THAT LARGE then so is the small dog zone, as well. Both areas have waters of pool fir the dogs to jump, run and dive into. Otis chased and swam the greasiest distance known to him and based off of how much fun both jasmine and Otis had here, I’d have to give it 5 stars.
Great local park. They have a big bone shaped pool for dogs to swim and cool off in. They have some obstacles for dogs to train with, big open fields, many water/mud puddles and plenty of trees for shade. There is also a separate section for small dogs that has the same set up but in a smaller area. The only downside here is sometimes you get owners who have poorly trained dogs, are kinda crazy themselves and the occasional venomous snake.
This is by far the best dog park in/near Houston. Not only is it huge with small & large dog areas, but both have pools, plenty of trails & shaded areas. Bring dog soap because they have dog showers right near the entrance/exits! So handy!
