  1. This is the best trail I have been on. Lots of space, beautiful scenery, restrooms on the trail. It is such a great experience especially on a beautiful, hot day!!
Great place for any age🌴🌷. Its located behind the Greensboro science museum.

    Thank you:)

  2. This is a beautiful and clean park to walk through or just to sit and relax. There are play areas for children, covered shelter sites for cookouts and family/friends to gather and so much more for your enjoyment. Check it out! You’ll be glad you did

  3. This park has a great combination of paved and dirt pathways. 2 large dog parks (divided by size of dogs) and 2 small lakes with fishing. Adjacent to the military park and easy access to the Science Center, plus ball field, tennis courts, and mountain bike trails. Obviously much quieter in winter months, but still a pleasant place for walking or getting those steps in.

  4. So beautiful and relieving! It is big and has all kind of stuff. Playgrounds, zip line, beautiful scenery and dog park. There is also boating, finishing.

  5. Beautiful and serene. Perfect for so many reasons. Morning walks and meditation, evening scrolls, family gatherings, nature watching and connecting with friends. Easily accessible to the Greensboro Science Center, The Battle Forest Military Park, Lewis Recreation center and there’s a cemetery too but I forgot the name.

This is my go to park for a quick view of some water. It doesn’t have a big lake or anything but the quiet view of the man made lake and ducks gives for a great meditation spot. They also have a small dock you can walk out on to fish or just get a closer look of the fish.

I really like this park. It doesn’t quite get the love it deserves. But for the location and size, it’s really great. You can fish, do archery, go for a jog, walk your dog. They have a few playgrounds. Tennis courts. All in all a great community asset.

Beautiful park, I love to walk the trail around the pond and admire/take pictures of the beautiful waterfowl I see along the way. They also have picnic shelters and restroom facilities in the respective areas as well. 2 playgrounds. Tennis courts, soccer field, they have it all!

I have going to Hester Park almost regularly now and it’s a really great place to unwind from the work and technology around it, it has a great trail which I enjoy for running, a nice scenery and a walkable distance from my home, for people young and old i recommend coming here for either exercise or if you just want to get out of the house and enjoy nature it really does feel you’re enclosed in this beautiful area. I do wish there was a lot more to do, i have noticed they are building a place for archery which seems fun and I cannot wait for it to open to try it out but the calming nature atmosphere is enough for me to calm down and enjoy the park for what it is worth.

The signs are not visible as it relates to shelter numbers etc. The bathrooms were unaccessible. Lastly, me and my date were locked in the park. No one drove around to inform us that the park would be closing. I will post the sign of the options we had. Totally unacceptable and it affected me mentally.

Visiting from out of town, a friend took me on her weekly Sunday visit. This place is pure joy!!! My dog would have loved it and I would have loved taking him. There was a good mix of all types of dogs (size, play style, breed, etc). The staff AND members did a great job keeping an eye on behaviors and keeping things clean. It was really happy and positive. Plenty for the dogs to do, a small dog area, an indoor area. I had a frozen cocktail and it was delicious. Finally, the staff were amazing!!! Super friendly and good at their jobs. They do use spray bottles as a deterrent. I didn’t see any real conflict, so I can’t speak to how they break up dogs when needed. Overall, I really trusted the staff to do what’s best for everyone and every dog, even if it isn’t how I personally would handle something.

My fiancé and I just moved into Greensboro and have found our new favorite place! The facilities are very nice and extremely well kept. All of the staff are extremely personal and you can tell they love the pups. Such a wonderful place to have around. I can’t tell who loves Doggos more, us or our pups!

We recently moved to Greensboro & have fallen in love with this place almost as much as our pup has. Great place to chill and have a beer while your dog tires itself out with lots of friendly doggo friends. Staff is always super attentive & friendly!

It’s a lot of fun watching the dogs run around, petting dogs, and enjoying a drink, too. Plus, outside of “family time” on the weekends, there’s nobody under age 21. Win-win! Dogs older than 1 year must be neutered/spayed, and EVERY dog has to have current shots.

My puppy and I absolutely love this place. Another thing I love is how strict they are about your pet having had their vaccinations including bordetella. The sanitation they perform is great too. Gets energy out of my girl and a great place to socialize your dog. Of course the drinks for Mommy are nice too.
