  1. Great park to memorialize the fallen soldiers in the Vietnam War! Family and friends come here to have fun, throw parties, BBQ. I wish we lived closer.

  2. My #1 go to walk and workout spot. Huge and long winding trails, so much scenery and we also like riding our 4 wheelers on the trails. Playground is nice, shade is amazing. Picnic area has CLEAN bathrooms and it’s so many trails and activities to do here. Nice, big and really chill.

  3. Best park in the area. Great trails, Texas friendly wild life, good park and great place to just explore. Highly recommend Vets Park!

  4. Beautiful park!! It’s been a minute since I have been to Veterans park. Sad to see the first plant ruined by writing. The rest of the park was gorgeous.

  5. Love this place, the flowers, the birds, the walking trails. My dogs love to walk at this park. The restrooms are clean. Great place to exercise and enjoy nature.

Truly enjoyed coming to the park today. Met some very nice fur parents. Milo and I will definitely be back. This is the best park we have been too. It’s good to find a park that is taken care of and everyone picks up after their fur babies.

This is my dog’s absolute favorite dog park. She has the most fun at this one. Everyone is always kind, met quite a few good people here. If it’s rained recently the dog park might be closed. Shameless plug lol: check out my dog’s Instagram account @nalathelionqueen1

My dog loves this park but whenever it rains they close it for days. No consistency on how long they keep it closed. It rained 4 days ago and just drove there and it is still closed. The ground is dry as a bone but the park is still closed. 11/22 once again I drove to this public park I’ll need to find out it is closed. It hasn’t rained in a week. I shouldn’t have to call ahead to see if this public park is open or not. Once again I’m going to have to drive to the dog park in Grand Prairie.

I am giving this 4 stars because my dogs absolutely are crazy about this place. If I mention dog park they go crazy and I cannot get them leashed up fast enough and in the car. They will not calm down until we are in the car driving to the dog park. As soon as you are enclosed in the fence you can let them loose. It is completely fenced with a forest area with lots of trees. After rains it can be muddy and slippery. Take my advice do not where sandals. Wear tennis shoes. They are open until ten pm each night. If you go in the evening make sure you spray with Off. Mosquitoes are really bad in the evening so cover your arms and legs. My dogs love to run here so it has become a daily stop. The regulars that come here are very nice people with very well behaved dogs. And to my surprise this place is very busy at 0630

Great dog park! Very large with plenty of space to run! Pretty much the only dog park in Arlington I go to. Only downside is it can muddy after good rain so be aware of that

I took my 7 year old grandson to this park. We had a wonderful time. Close to home. And the other people that were there were amazing. The play ground is awesome. And so many other kids to play with.

This is a beautiful park in a great neighborhood right off of South Cooper and Hardisty! F. J. “Red” Kane Park is located in a family-friendly neighborhood with a decent amount of space to sit and gather with other people, and a walkable neighborhood! Area: This park is located off South Cooper in Arlington, TX in the neighborhood of Fannin Farms. This is a great neighborhood with friendly people and a walkable neighborhood with lots of walking trails that weave throughout the neighborhood and clear sidewalks and bike lanes. Amenities: – Nearby trails for walking in a walkable and friendly neighborhood. – Two playscapes. One for older kids. One for toddlers and babies. – Basketball courts. – Large field area for games like softball, baseball, football, soccer, kickball, etc. – Local pond with fish, ducks, and turtles – Multiple picnic tables areas for family and friends to gather Bonus: Fannin Farms neighborhood is known for their peacocks and peafowl running through the neighborhood! Be sure to slow down in the neighborhood as they are often found crossing streets. Look but don’t touch!

Nice little park to take your loved ones and animals, has a basketball court and 2 children playgrounds, one for younger and another for the older. Overall nice spot to go to on anyday of the week, maybe not on a rainy day though.

Been going to this park since my kids were little, one of our favorite parks. And as you can see he’s not so little anymore but he still likes to go to the park with his momma to feed the ducks .

This park is very beautiful and peaceful and it’s a wonderful place for children to play and be in close watch. I took my daughter fishing there today and it was just very peaceful and beautiful.
