- Reviews:My rat terrier. Marley, loves the dog park. The park is very well maintained and they have toys available in case you forget to bring any. The interaction with other dogs and owners has been very positive as well. 50 dollars for the first year( to include key card) and 45 renewal is well worth it. Fair warning though, the access road to the park is terrible and needs to be repaved badly.By Allen Czyzewski (8 months ago)A God-send for our energetic boys. The members are friendly and helpful to new people. The staff is highly responsive to any questions you have. $40 for 7 acres of land for the dogs to run and make new canine friends? (well some human ones, too) What a fantastic deal!By Brian Grinonneau (5 years ago)Best dog park in Toledo! Great people and dogs show up daily. The rates are very reasonable for the amenities provided. It’s key card access so you can be sure everyone is up to date with permission from the head office.By Chris Meyer (4 years ago)Best in the country!! Yes I mean the country not only in the county. Great dogs great people great place!!!By Cathy Smithson (2 months ago)Great place to bring the dog, everyone is friendly, and open every day.By Josh L (2 months ago)

- Reviews:A great place to park your car to enjoy a siesta, or bring your dog for a romp!By Lynette Swantack (4 weeks ago)Only good for walking or baseball games. The dog park is next door and should not even be given a score on here. The dog park is nicer than the people park. The city is trying but the park has been like this since I’ve lived in South Toledo. Almost 20 years. Yea, it’s nice the zoo is next door, but it does nothing to enhance the experience here.By Angie LaPlante (11 months ago)There’s a reason my dog and I frequent this park. It’s well maintained with a private dog park, softball diamonds, and a walking path that has ample benches around the perimeter; the path is between 9/10’s of a mile and 1 mile. The city plows the snow during the winter. It’s a great year round park, conveniently located. Wildlife such as Canadian geese, deer, rabbit, falcon, squirrel, woodchuck and the occasional fox frequent the park. It has a port-o-potty, although who really wants to use that if at all avoidable. Woodsdale park is my dogs favorite park!By Gibran Bedra (10 months ago)To be honest I don’t visit Woodsdale Park, but Glass City Dog Park shares its entrance and parking. The road is rough so take it slow. There are 3 baseball diamonds and some open fields.By Allen Czyzewski (8 months ago)They keep the dog park clean and it’s decorated for Halloween with an area to take holiday pics wirh your pups. We had a great timeBy Cathy Keith (6 months ago)

As a wedding photographer, I LOVE Middlegrounds! It’s close to downtown Toledo wedding venues, provides an amazing backdrop for small elopements, and is a perfect spot for engagement photos. It looks beautiful year-round and has restrooms to change clothes, ample parking, and lots of different locations with different scenery to change things up. We are so lucky to have such a versatile and convenient park in the area!
Laid on a slab of granet and looked up and this was I was gifted with. No sounds of traffic and a gentle breeze. Did not want to leave.
Awesome place, also has a dog park. Lovely grounds. Wonderful Park to relax and chill and enjoy the scenery.
Dog park.
Visited the dog park for our first time today, we have an almost 6 month old golden retriever puppy.
With him just about 40 pounds I decided to check out the large dog area first. Right as we entered we were greeted with several dogs, two in particular that we had problems with (The second dog and the owner recognized that the behavior was a little to rough even though it wasn’t aggressive and came and leased their dog to redirect). These two dogs were playing very rough, not aggressive but something that myself and my dog were both uncomfortable with. My dog was being submissive, crouching down to the ground, tail between the legs and backing up.
To try to break up and get some space, I stepped in between the one dog and my dog to get my dog back on the leash. While doing so I put my leg up and the other dog ran into me (The dog was in motion heading towards my dog and was very thick, strong built dog). The owner proceeds to approach me very angrily accusing me of kicking his dog. I left and entered the small dog area where there was another golden retriever and a few xsmall dogs. Everyone was welcoming in that area and the dogs played well together.
The dog park itself is a nice area despite the surrounding area. Both play areas were clean, had some shady spots and a couple obstacles that the dogs can play in and around.
We ended up taking a walk by the river and getting a nice picture.
Beautiful park near the center of the city. Really unique place.
