  1. From the parking lot, it looks like nothing. You have to head back behind the tree line to see the bigger off leash area. The people and dogs were lovely. Unfortunately there’s no grass so it’s very dusty and muddy and dogs get very dirty.

  2. Our dogs have fun every time we go there. The dogs and their owners are friendly, it’s always great to meet someone new.
The park is big, especially for the large dog part, and our Husky lives going on adventures while we walk the small paths. He also loves to lay in the mud puddle by the gazebo. We have been bringing towels since the first time he decided to cool off in the puddle.
It’s not a well taken care off park, grass would be a nice addition to it and some clearing of dead brush, trees and such. It seems the city of Spokane prides itself in their beautiful parks, which are amazing, but not so much in the dog parks. Everything, including fencing, gazebo and waterline was done by volunteers, so I was told on our first visit.
It’s a big area and the dogs love it, that’s the main point.

  3. Came here during a visit to Spokane, it is MASSIVE compared to other parks I’ve been to. They had already turned off water for winter, but there were bowls left behind for people to fill with their own.

  4. Great place to take your furry friends. Plenty of room to run, and often lots of friends to make. But please pick up after yourself! Too many people just leaving messes from their dog, or worse messes that they make themselves. It isnt bad, but it shouldnt happen at all.

  5. Lovely dog park. I was able to use both the small and large dog park and both were expansive and offered a lot of terrain for my dogs to enjoy. But BE WARY of the water and puddles. My large dog got both giardia and ringworm after rolling around in mud from snow melt (and evidently drinking some water somewhere). The large dog park area does not get much sun so the snow runoff lingers for a while. Just make sure to keep an eye on your dog and I DO NOT recommend bringing your dog whatsoever if there are puddles. 100% bringing him back in the summer though.

Not a whole lot going on here if you’re looking for a playground-theres a swingset, small slide and 3 rideable ducks but it is fairly isolated and quiet.

Was lead to believe that it was an off leash park. Other than it was fine.

It’s a great park, it’s not big but it’s nice. It has a small playground and a field that’s good for dogs, has a small track for riding around and also has a pick nick table

I really enjoy going to this park small quiet you’ll have to deal with a bunch of people there are a few people come with their dogs but they’re very friendly dogs the kids don’t bother the dogs unless it’s okay with the owners

It’s a small, fenced in area to let your dog off leash. Don’t expect much and you won’t be disappointed. Would recommend for small dogs 20lbs and under. Big dogs, it’s more just a potty break space. There are roads and sidewalks all around so it can be great for training with distractions and socializing.

Loved it!. A lot of dogs and a lot of room for the dogs to run.

It’s was nice and quiet and it helped keep my parents 7 mo. Old skidish and shy newly adopted puppy from freaking out and she had fun with the other dog that was there that she was able to play with!

Really small but super cute. It is one of the best things the city could have put in that small awkward spot. Note it is not a “proper” dog park with designated dog size areas, it is just one area so exercise your own judgment. Woof!!

This place I would not consider a dog park at all because one it doesn’t have a fence and two it doesn’t have anything as far as a drink fountain for dogs like the park does in Lewiston Idaho. I would not recommend this park at all.
