Straight up I could not have been happier with my experience at Wally and Son’s auto.
I had both a great experience with his sons and Wally, incredible quick service that got this stranded out of tiebreak back on the road. . Highly highly recommend.
The back story. A week ago I was visiting a friend in Providence and went to leave town on Monday to discover I had a bad exhaust problem and could not drive my car.
So, on a cold Monday night, after the surprise 6” of snow, at 7:20 pm looking for a mechanic online I was surprised to discover they were still open. Mohammed picked up the phone and could not have been nicer and assured me they could handle it.
He advised me to bring the car in the next morning, (confirming my NY mechanic’s advice to have it towed – and not drive it). I have Triple A which I used and found them easily.
So, I had the car there at 11 am Tuesday and by 2 PM was on my way. Wally and Son’s turned a stressful dilemma into a great experience.
The best mechanics in the area. These guys are honest, have fair prices, and do great work. I’ve taken multiple cars there and they’ve done a great job with both, and really stand behind their work. Prices are not cheap, but you know you’re getting good work done and is well worth it in my opinion. They’re attentive to all issues but are also not going to sell you things you don’t need. Turnaround time is also very quick. Definitely will be back with any issues that come up for my car, and wouldn’t consider going anywhere else.
Great service. I called in the early afternoon because my car was making noises and was told to come in so they could take a look asap. We did a quick drive and they identified the problem, made sure everything else was in top shape, and fixed my car within a couple hours. I will definitely be coming back if my car needs anything else. They’re a friendly group and the bird was also very entertaining during my wait :).
This family business is the real deal! Wally and his sons are kind, hard working and accommodating. Not only did they work quickly when I needed to wait for my car, they explained everything to me and even showed me what the problem was when the car was on the lift. A truly honest garage. I was even able to ask for their advice about buying a used car and brought it to them so they could check it out for me before buying. They took their time and really made sure I was buying a good car. I witnessed them speak to all of their customers with patience and kindness, even when they were very busy. I look forward to bringing my cars to them in the future and I will recommend Wally and Sons to everyone I know! This is a genuine family who treat their customers like family too. Thank you so much!
I was referred to Wally and his Sons by a good friend to go get my car checked. The shop is welcoming and they’re very friendly and professional. They took my car inside the shop put it on a lift and diagnosed the problems within 20 minutes. I’m very happy and will be bringing my car there for the repairs.
