Brain was up front from the start and and gave me a couple updates while the service team was working. Turns out it was an electrical issue on a sensor connection- three hours and we were back on the road.

    It was interesting comparing 2 Melloy dealerships. We just bought a truck after Christmas. That experience was 10s all around. This experience was what I expected since I simply drove onto the lot without an appointment or any online conversations. The salesman, Michael, was enthusiastic, professional, and listened to what I was looking for in terms of an SUV. The Pathfinder pretty well sold itself. I saw one thing that gave me pause and Michael quickly made seat adjustments accordingly; no more issue. I did not feel too much pressure from Michael and things were going well. Eventually, we met John Melloy and then things took a turn in terms of pressure. He encouraged us to take a second test drive in a different color vehicle, which was a good idea, but when we returned, he said he NEEDED us to drive the Pathfinder home that night because he already had interest. I did not believe this nor did I appreciate the tactic. I wanted to drive my current vehicle home to take my time to clean it out etc. I had already been there longer than expected and was tired. I also made it clear if they needed to check my credit I needed notice to unfreeze it. I was paying cash, BUT if I wrote a personal check they had to check credit which was not true. I did some homework; nor was it the case at Melloy Dodge. Just saying… Regardless, getting a cashiers check in the morning delayed things, but worked out fine. I was NOT happy driving home an unfamiliar car in the dark either. There was an issue, but I got it worked out.

    Ronnie the finance guy was easy to work with and made the closing out experience pleasant. I would definitely return to Michael as a sales rep. I enjoyed his positive-can-do attitude. He was delightful, personable, and knowledgeable. On another note, Amy was another plus. this is the first time we ever encountered a separate person, whose sole job was to go over every button on the car and help with apps etc. Amy was VERY thorough, professional, personable, and knowledgeable.

    Our Salesman Leroy and Mike our Finance Mgr went above and beyond. They were extremely in patient. I didn’t think the deal we wanted would be fulfilled and it definitely happened. Thks to All Staff. Extremely professional and personable.

    So I went to this Melloy Nissan dealer today in response to some safety recalls. My bumper was at fault before I handed my car over to the dealer and it looked like what’s in the first image (got from their cc camera). It was not like barely hanging there just like shown in the second image image (I spent a considerable amount of money to fix my bumper and then I travelled to lots of states and up and down/sloppy road and my bumper was fine all the way for last 2 years). And second image is how they actually returned me the car.

    Now the problem is they seemed absolutely fine in returning the car to me with the bumper barely holding. Their express supervisor was continuously telling me that there is NO DIFFERENCE between returning the car to me like the first image and second image as the bumper was at fault beforehand (his words sounded like it’s even fine if they returned my car without the bumper as it was faulty beforehand). It’s like they have every right to return the car in worst condition as the bumper was at fault. They continuously tried to tell me that they cannot do anything about it and go to a body shop. They did not take any responsibility for such act and when I said that I will give a review they started to say sorry to me. So before I said anything about the review they were not admitting anything and after I talked about giving review they started saying me sorry. First they damage your property and do not admit and secondly they try to trick you believing it’s not their fault. Why you are saying sorry even if it’s not your fault? And if you say sorry that mean it’s actually your fault and you should compensate for that. Now I need to go to a body shop and fix it with my money, for which I am not responsible for. There is no compensation from their end. I was not expecting to compensate me with a new bumper as that will be ethically wrong from my point of view. But they could compensate me enough so I can refix the bumper to what it looked like before I handed my car over to them. I don’t know but if there is any higher authority in Nissan’s show room, I am surely reaching them to formally file complaint against this dealer shop. It’s unacceptable behaviour from such brand like Nissan.

    This is my second time buying a Nissan car from Melloy, and I am very happy to say my experience once again, was exceptional! It was beyond my greatest desires to purchase a new car at this time in my life. The whole sales team and General Manager made a wonderful package for me which I could not refuse.     Took my truck to get appraised for a $150 gift card end of September was told it would take two days here we are end of December and Ive been passed off between at least three different employees who are ecstatic to get me in a new vehicle but the second I ask about the gift card they say they’ll get back to me and never do. They don’t care about the consumer they just want to get you in anything they can then forget about you. The difference between how this place treats you and how viva on telshor treats you is night and day and will keep my future shopping with viva.

    Honestly was really turned off by the pushy sales people. They can’t seem to respect your comments or time limits to look at vehicles. I went today to merely look and see if there was a model there that I liked then I would contact them later for a test drive, I was really pressed for time. Upon arriving I, on my own started looking and tried to read the information on the new car sticker but none of the cars had them posted on the window like other dealerships. These were placed flat on the dashboard and extremely difficult to read. I do like Nissan vehicles but I will not be buying from this specific dealership.
