The basis of affordable gas and good service remains under the canco name. I haven’t tried the food so no opinion on that. It is a store I frequent and always get good service from pleasant people. They treat us like family here, best gas station on the northshore by far. The wide range of products (exotic as well) and the cheap vape prices are what always bring me back. Tons of pressure, hot water, good wax, non-sticky soap, and it gives you so much time for your money that you’ll have to switch hands. $5 is more than enough to clean your car with soap and wax. $8 gives you enough for any truck or SUV. By far the best value in Kamloops. The wax setting still pumps out the pressure and the wax doesn’t need to be rinsed, just let it dry and it won’t leave a milky residue on your paint. I didn’t quite understand the instructions and I continued to put my foot on the break while in neutral. And one of the employees called me a nasty name. And kept swearing at me. I kept apologizing cuz I genuinely just didn’t understand. And she flat out ignored my apologies and looked at me like i was dumb, and continued swearing at me. So that was very unprofessional and very uncomfortable so I will definitely not be returning which is unfortunate because my car came out spotless clean. I don’t know if she was having a bad day. These guys are the best. Fast, affordable, and honest about the repairs your car ACTUALLY needs. Took my car in with a repair .And Ended up getting my brakes and full service done with them .Car was done very fast with reasonable price.Nice waiting room, every other customer in there seemed equally as content and relieved with their quality of service as I was. I was looking for a good shop to look at my vehicle and change the brakes. I found Lube Express on google and after reading the reviews I decided to give them a try. I brought my vehicle in after making an appointment and the service was great. The owner, manager, and staff are very professional, courteous, and were willing to work with me based on my situation.The repair done this morning, the price, and was done really quickly. I will definitely be taking my vehicle back to get the future repairs done.
I had a really great experience at Lube Express for Auto Works! Diagnostics and repairs were complete within hours and brakes serviced shortly after. Prices were very reasonable and Gurwinder was very honest .Got my car back the same day as good as new. Highly recommend going here for out of warranty repairs, excellent work.
While driving through Kamloops, got a sharp rock lodged in the tire and a leak. With a quick google search we pulled right into the Mobile 1 and within 15 minutes, they had it patched and us driving out the door. Super friendly folks to boot. Thanks Guri!
Visited Mobil 1 Lube in Kamloops on the recommendation of a friend. We visited for an oil change and were greeted by friendly staff. However, things quickly digressed from there.
“Samples” of our power steering and transmission fluid were brought to the car window and we were told both needed to be flushed and changed. We declined the transmission fluid service as we just had this completed last year elsewhere (which seemed odd). We were still strongly advised that we pay the $109 for the power steering system to be flushed and replaced with new fluid. I watched the technician who only sucked out some of the fluid from the reservoir and then poured a small amount of new fluid in (a bottle costs $15). Nothing was flushed. When I returned home, I was upset with what I found. An overfilled power steering system and when I removed the excess fluid myself, the fluid was the same consistency as what was shown to us when we first arrived.
I reached out to customer service to discuss the situation and no one will call or email me back. Its been 2 weeks. I also provided my email address (verified 3 times during visit) and never received a receipt.
I will never shop here again. This place is a joke.
**Update Feb 19,2023 – Re-sent my original email (which also included my licence plate number) to the email address that was indicated in Mobil1’s reply to this review. This is the same email address I sent my original complaint to.
*March 1, 2023 – Still no response.
