This place is a hidden gem- definitely trust the great reviews. I came in with extensive paint oxidation that other places quoted me $1000+ to fix. General Grant’s did a patch test to ensure they could actually fix it to my liking, then quoted me a mere fraction of the other guys, which also included interior detailing services. However, now there is a strong vinegar smell in my car that I can’t seem to get rid of, even though I left the windows down overnight. I do always appreciate natural ingredients, but any time I drive somewhere now, I smell like warm coleslaw. I did a little research and now I’m leaving a bowl of baking soda in the backseat overnight to see if that helps. I’ve never had a car detailing before and I’m not sure if this smell is normal, but I was hoping for a more pleasant smell.
UPDATE: I reached out to staff about the issue after a couple of days airing out the car. The manager was able to get my car cleaned out again that same day. I’ve been coming here for quite a while, and I really appreciate and respect everyone that works at the car wash here. Except for Colby, he might be one of the most condescending and misogynistic employees that have been hired. I typically bring a $20 bill to tip, but he was sure to tell me today that I did not have an important enough car to dry off because I was not one of the cars that paid for the parked full car clean out. He could definitely benefit from some coaching, and some accountability. I would assume that makes the business a “volume game,” but you wouldn’t know it from the interaction I had with one of the employees (possibly the manager, given age and the way he was dressed). Dude tried to sell me a monthly subscription like he was pushing time shares. I let him go through his little pitch explaining that for only $5 more than the wash I had selected I could get unlimited washes for 3 months, and then said “nah, we’ll stick with just the one wash.” He asked, “are you not from around here or something?” And then proceeded to re-explain the deal as if I hadn’t understood him the first time. I told him I just don’t get my car washed very often so it wouldn’t be worth the extra $5, and then he acted like I was crazy for not wanting to spend extra money on something I’m not going to use and get myself another subscription that I have to remember to cancel. He made sure to tell me just how many times I would have to get a car wash in the next 3 months to make the deal worth the extra cost up front, and then made sure to waste even more time telling me to look into some kind of pre-paid plan. A gentleman broke down the prices and what was offered with each tier. They have you put your car in neutral and you get moved through the stations. Today the line was long and there was an older white bald employee running around yelling at people through their windows. I waited patiently for around 10 minutes and when I only moved up two spots, I turned around by the dumpster area. He saw me trying to turn around by the dumpsters and he sent another car to block my way. He’s screaming for me to back up even though I didn’t have much room and he knew it. I gave the room I could without hitting the dumpsters so the car he sent to block my way could pass. As I was passing him he screamed at me to slow down and tried to take a swing at my truck. I was not driving fast. I kept the same speed as I exited the parking lot. Never going back again. I can’t believe they let people with that kind of attitude interact with customers. The best deal for your money with the membership. I always need my car vacuum and love the unlimited. Some days it does get packed and the line waits can be long. If everyone who has an actual membership goes through the membership line it moves fast. Staff is always friendly and good. Love the way it smells when cleaning my car. I Don’t ever think about canceling the membership, I will have it forever! Lol ❤️😊
This wash did not even touch the back of my car. I paid $20 for this wash and my car still looks awful. When I went to an employee with the issue they were completely incompetent and had no idea what to do. They offered me nothing for the horrible wash on my car. The picture shown is my car after the car wash.
it’s fine but not worth the price they charge. the back of your car won’t get clean and i tried a dozen different hoses before finding one with enough suction force. frustrating and ended up washing the back of my car when i got home anyways. wont be back

My experience was awful!
The wash was terrible. It still left dirt and streaks all over. None of the vacuums had suction. None of the car mat wash machines worked. The mats looked the same when they came out, as they did when I put them in.
Not to mention, when I tried to address it to the employee, he was extremely rude. I told him the suction was terrible on the vacuums, and he said, “…go to the corner one BRO. I’m here by myself.” The “corner one” wasn’t any better.

After Zips took over this car wash it’s gone down hill. I went there today for my trucks one bath a year. No soap came out and the tire shine did nothing. Don’t waste your money
