I’ve lived in Long Beach for a handful of years (at the time of this writing) and rarely get my car washed, because it’s bound to be covered in beach dust within a couple days. Well after all this time, I finally decided to give my car the cleaning it deserves and I knew I couldn’t do that myself (it was bad…), so I needed to find a full-service car wash. Most places in the area are just drive-thru, diy-vacuum types of spots and that wasn’t going to cut it for my mess of a car.
This place was recommended to me and it’s PERFECT! It’s exactly like the one that was in my hometown that I miss so very much. They do it all! And while the prices are a bit high (I mean, what’s cheap anymore anyway), I genuinely feel it’s worth it considering how much work the crew does on every car that comes through. They’re really busting their butts out there in the hot California sun, every day, earning those tips. I’m so excited to have found this spot and can’t wait to make it a more regular treat for my lil red car!
By J O (7 months ago)I paid $70 to get an to get a super detailed cleaning of my interior and exterior of my car. The outside looks good but they did not do a thorough cleaning of the inside. None of the doors were wiped down the floor pads were not cleaned and the seats were not cleaned. And there is still a lot of crumbs and food and all the cracks For $70 I expect more. I will not be returning.By Jaimie Fraser (2 months ago)I am very upset, yesterday I took my car to this establishment for the second time, since the first time I was very happy with his work, my husband and I were delighted since we stopped going to another car wash for the same reason. this second time, yesterday it was quite disappointing that they saw my face. My car was literally the same as how I took it, I do not usually bring the interior of my partner car, but I precisely took it to this place and paid for them to vacuum those dust particles and some puppy hair. I have came here nearly 5 times in the past 3 months. I recently went about 2 weeks ago, and left my prescription Rayban sunglasses by the middle console. I forgot to put them in my bag before the wash. The next day I realized my glasses were not in the middle console. These are a $400 pair of sunglasses since they’re prescription, so there is absolutely no way I would misplace them. The people who washed my car also stole my Raybans. I am truly saddened that this establishment stole from me, even after I spent hundreds of dollars in the past few months. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Unfortunately, I haven’t been very happy after my last few visits. I feel like there has been a steady decline in the quality for quite some time, and today was the last straw.
Today, I paid for the Presidential Wash and I have a truck. After including a mat wash, my total price was $46.99. After paying almost 50 dollars, including a tip, I expected my truck to be impeccably clean; however, I was very disappointed.
I spent about 15 minutes, at home, cleaning missed spots. Obvious smudges, bugs, dirt, all things that would have been easily cleaned off had they taken an extra second or two. My chrome and plastic finish looked horrendous. Chrome was completely spotted. Some of the plastic pieces weren’t even cleaned, especially my door handles. The tires were a mess. All of the dressing they used ran and streaked the tires after I drove off. Even my windows- the easiest part of the car to clean- were not cleaned well. There were smudges and fingerprints that were clearly visible Also, the vacuum cleaners missed a lot of obvious dog hair on my front seat.
I posted some photos, to back up my claims of how poorly my truck was cleaned. I’m sorry Coast, I’ve been a loyal customer for as long as you’ve been in Long Beach- even before your remodeling. I won’t be returning though. I feel like I can get better value elsewhere. I can pay a better price and get a mediocre car wash just about anywhere. When my truck needs a good pampering, I’ll be taking it to my old spot in San Pedro, off of Gaffey.

Beware of this place! I paid $11 (the best wash option they offered), which was supposed to come with “Blue Coral Tire Shine,” but they were almost as dirty as before the wash (see photo). While I was vacuuming I noticed the man who took my money for the wash came over to another car, with a sponge and ArmorAll tire shine, and manually shined the tires. When I pointed out that my tires also needed a shine, he said, “she tipped me extra for that.” I pointed out that the machine tire shine was obviously not working, he simply ran off back to taking money at the entrance. I’m the photos, this is the heavier set guy with a beard and blue strip down the side of his shirt. I went over to the woman whose tires he polished and asked her if she had paid extra for the shine. She excitedly said no, she just got the $11 wash, as I did.
For the record, I did tip the guy ($5) who was drying my car at the end of the wash. I didn’t think there was a justification to tip a guy whose sole heavy lifting is taking a credit card. I noticed the dryers also didn’t work, which is probably why they have two guys doing a very quick hand dry at the end.
Overall, it seems getting the $11 wash is a total ripoff. Moreover, the guy who was there today (9/19/22 at 1:30 pm) was a total scammer. I also regretted tipping the guy who dries because he spent all of 60 seconds on my car and the entire time I was vacuuming, he was ogling the young lady vacuuming her own car next to mine. He even called over the other dude to stare at her while she was bent over in the car. I’d never want my female friends or relatives going here. The business owner should get rid of them all and get people who are honest and truly appreciate having a job.

Upon arriving the gentleman that handled my transaction was friendly and offered great customer service and I ended up getting the $11 wash since he nicely explained each wash to me and which wash is best. I was very satisfied with how well my car was well cleaned and the dryer took his time drying my car as well. While the dryer was done I noticed they have free vacuums for us customers to vacuum our cars, I think that’s amazing and such a bonus that we don’t have to pay for it. The area was well clean and I just really enjoyed my visit here because I was very satisfied with both of the cashier and dryers customer service and was happy with how nice and clean my car was for only $11!!! I bought the $60 , my car is brand new first wash ever and they scratched my doors..they don’t use clean clothes (even though I requested so)when washing also left water spots all over.
So disappointing…1st time using them, I won’t go back because they claim no responsibility for scratches and I was hoping for a decent job especially for the price I paid
I keep giving this place a try and today will be the last time I go. I hate that the guy always tries to get you to get a higher price wash. He should be a car salesman because it’s very annoying. Also I had to get my truck revaccumed. The driver side window was not wiped properly. My rims still looked dirty even though I paid extra for it. Most carwashes I can just drive off once they are done but this place you have to go over thier work before you take off. I’m done with this place.

All car washes are Expensive today;but this place does a very good job. I got Ultimate “C” for a medium SUV. Looks brand new & please leave a tip (at least $5). They work hard to give your car a Fabulous shine.
