  1. Honestly the best dog park that exists. My baby loves it here, she runs around and makes new dogo friends. Very friendly owners as well, they are always aware of their dogs. What I love most about the park is how crowded it gets and the dogs have a lot of friends to play with. In summer the pool is awesome. LOVE THE VIBES AND LOVE THE DOGOS

  2. Great little oasis for dogs and humans alike! There are lots of amenities for the pets (tennis balls, pools, water taps) and benches and shade for their owners. Vibe tends to be quite friendly and relaxed. Busiest right before and after work hours, through the week.

  3. It took us 12 years to make this happen in the neighborhood. It’s wonderful to have a gated dog park so that pets can run free. We’re very proud of this place.

  4. Very simple but busy dog park, small, but it does kind of have a hill which is nice. And there is water for the dogs.

  5. We love taking our pups to the city dog park. I am happy to let them run around with the other dogs for a bit, but they can become overstimulated when we stay more than 5 minutes. So we walk them around the beautiful neighborhood. It’s always a fun time. All the dogs are all well-behaved.

Took my dog around 8am and there were about 15 dogs in there. It was a little overwhelming for my dog as he was one of the smallest. Been experimenting with different times and trying to find a slow time with less dogs. The park itself is nice and big. I love that it is turf and not dirt. Poo bags available but only at one entrance. No trash cans inside the park but right outside the gate. It is very popular so many dogs at all times. If your dog isn’t that social I wouldn’t bring them here.

New to the neighborhood, DC really lacks in green space. Dogs need lots of space to roam and run freely, this park is too small and often overcrowded. Nobody follows the I think 9 dog limit, it’s a limit for a reason. There were a few dogs aggressively barking and biting, owners just standing by saying oh their just dogs but if yours gets hurt I bet that wouldn’t be the response. Do better, clean the space because it smells

We have a great experience for the most part, when we come and most dogs seem to be friendly. There is one dog named “Betty White” who continues to attack my 5- month year old puppy unprovoked , and the owner never does anything. All she ever says is “she doesn’t like puppies”. It happened today even, and now my dog has blood on her collar. Just mentioning this so that people can be on the look out. About 30lb mix, black, brown and white skinnier dog. A few of my dog park friends have seen it happen multiple times not only to my puppy but other puppies as well. So please be careful.

A much needed enclosed dog park just north of H st NE. Artificial turf with drainage and some cement structures for pups to play on. Though the sign says a max of 8-10 dogs at a time there are often 20 or more in the evenings. Kid’s side is pretty cool too, but would have been even better to have a divided small and large dog area instead. Note – bring bug spray. Ever since they put in the plants on the sides the mosquitoes have been vicious! They do leave you alone with basic Off type spray though.

We visited from out of town, and our two dogs were happy here. I sought this park out because it is not astroturf, which retains an awful urine smell. (The S Street dog park was pungent.) There is water and shade, and there were about 10 dogs to play with on a warm Tuesday afternoon. Other owners were at minimum moderately attentive to their dogs, so it was a relatively safe and pleasant place to spend an hour.

A well maintained dog park with running water and benches. Usually has at least a dog or two any time of day, and can get very busy, while still providing plenty of space for your pooch to sniff around. Unfortunately, it is pea gravel, so Snuffles and Fido will get pretty gnarly if they roll around.

Love this dog park and come here often but really wish they had turf and not gravel. Does anyone know who we need to get in touch with to make that happen?

I enjoyed this park (and so did my dog). The door latch is a bit janky, but aside from that, it is a well maintained park for that morning puppy social.

Great dogs and great people – it’s what makes a good dog park! The gravel gets a bit dusty, and astroturf would get this dog park a full 5 stars. Water available for dogs, and a tap to fill up with filtered water for their humans. Park has an area for both large and small dogs.
