- Reviews:My dogs love this place and it is so nice to burn off some energy. After a rain there are tons of mud puddles so I wish they had some sort of doggie shower/hose. The people that go are always really friendly and have been tolerant of my rambunctious dog. Wish NORD would build more of these in other parts of the city. As you can see one of my dogs really enjoys the mud.By Gina MacLaren Realtor (4 years ago)My little Lola bug was making friends! Great neighborhood park all around, not too big but plenty of room for the dogs to stretch their legs. Bonus great basketball courts and a cozy coffee house across the street.By Abel (4 years ago)The dogs have fun running and playing, it’s clean and I feel safe there.By julie Jenkins (a month ago)So far so good! My dog loves it here! Haven’t encountered aggressive dogs.By Becca F (3 months ago)I’m just happy to have a dog park so close by! The only imperfections are: the grounds are very dusty because the dogs make it hard to have grass, and one water fountain is broken. But both of those things I chalk up to the difficulty of having a public park. These are not easy problems to solve. I like the big space and it’s plenty for dogs to run around in. There are lots of benches, both in the sun and in the shade. I just recommend wearing boots when you come, or your old tennis shoes, so that you don’t get too disappointed when your footwear gets dusty or muddy. There are usually lots of cars parked along the street, but nonetheless I still have a pretty easy time finding a spot. It’s easy to spend hours at this park if your dog can handle it. It’s a great place to relax while your dog has some fun.By H. Dubna (a year ago)

- Reviews:It’s pretty good, great neighborhood, nice people, grass, sand and gravel, water and dog dropping bags. It’s small but good.By Michael Wellborn (6 months ago)This dog park is EXTREMELY nice! We went on a Wednesday late morning and no one was there, but a couple walkers on the trail said that weekends there are lots of dogs! As far as the park and all the “dog amenities” are top notch. I absolutely recommend this dog park.By Hooked On Bassin (4 years ago)Very quite! Nice. Clean. Well designed & put. It is closed in with secure locking a. Water hose for water. Everything you need!! Super peaceful!By Terri Lacombe (7 months ago)Brad Roth the East Bank Administrator of Jefferson Parish Parks abused a beautiful friendly dog, kicking it twice!! Then proceeded to throw balls that were left in the park over the fence towards the railroad tracks littering the outside of the park. A spiteful action which was childish. Not the best first impression. He was on a walk through with his boss and architect whom only ignored his terrible behavior. It is a shame that the people in charge of providing these parks can not respect the citizens paying taxes and their animals. The nice lady whose dog was kicked twice and another man were also there who were very upset. I captured a photo of Mr. Roth right after kicking this sweet small dog as it cowards away. Mr.Roth in the pink shirt, told us he was going to call the police on us for toys in the park that were there before any of us arrived! Can you believe that? Only had 1 star because it won’t let me post with 0. He should be thanking the stars he didn’t kick my dog, I’ll just say he wouldn’t of had a chance to kick him again.By Lauren Barron (6 years ago)Not super big but it is fenced in and has some grassy areas, doggy bags, and benches. Relatively uncrowded when I went. Google maps took me to the wrong place, may have to walk over the train tracks if you come from metairie roadBy Shawna Lombardi (2 years ago)

Great dog park. It is a paid park membership. There’s water features and a small dog area. A walkway around. Lovely space.
The park is beautifully maintained with water for the dogs to drink and play in, trees and walking paths, places to sit and places to throw the ball with your dog. It is large enough that there are quieter spaces for more timid dogs. The fee is modest and allows for the maintenance. The manager loves dogs and is very helpful when you need her.
This is creepy. Is anyone else the least bit concerned that one of these dog owners will have another person’s dog put down or sued if there’s a scuffle? Seems like the vibe. The open fields right outside the pearly gates are a great place to throw the ball and have fun with our dogs. Feel free to join us!
It’s great for us, I can let the puppy be unhinged in his search for running mates. While the elder rolls in the grass. People are great about scooping their poop, it’s very clean. And the washing station is perfect 👍🏾
Best dog park in The county. More should use this as a template for a great safe park. Sorry no unneutered males . $20 for 2 week pass or $50 for annual (We came almost everyday we were in town. it was so great)
