- Reviews:Want to cool off with the family? Maybe rent a jet ski and or boat to enjoy some on the water fun? Well Head down to Lakeshore Park aka “The Rez”. Clean, safe, beautiful fun out in the cleanest fresh water swimming hole MS has to offer. Trust me, you’ll have a blast with southern hospitality swelling in every wave. So load up and head on over for a cool refreshing dip.By Christian Deal (10 months ago)Had a great day by the water cooked out on the grill and enjoyed my day but the restrooms were nasty but other then that it was greatBy Doug Vreeland (a month ago)Nice place for a good swim. The only thing is that people who go there need to be fined if they liter its like ever since they took out the booth at the entrance people assume it’s a place for them to leave their trash behind. SMH! But the place itself is nice very pretty. We love it. Just hope grown adults would pick up after themselves.By Maria “MJ” Lopez (10 months ago)My puppy loves the small dog park! We come here every week so she can play and run around freely with other dogs. The park also has great picnic spots…..hubby, puppy and I love to watch the sunset on the pier on warmer daysBy Sruthi Sanku (4 years ago)The police are awesome! Thank you!! But the ones who grill and dump their ashes out by the garbage can while it was still Hot! Any kids throwing trash away could get burnt. So please make sure you take your own and with you!! You are not smart!!By Nana Mama (3 years ago)

- Reviews:The tennis courts and surrounding area are well maintained with adequate parking to support players and spectators. The staff in the pro shop are helpful and knowledgeable. The ONLY place I trust for maintaining my players’ rackets. There’s always a good selection of new and used rackets to choose from at a good price.By Wendy Robinson (2 months ago)Real gem of a park! Courts are amazing, but the tennis pro shop is heaven on Earth! It’s hot everything!By Tash Solangi (a year ago)This is a very popular tennis park just down from the Racket Club. There are paved, curvy walking paths filled with walkers morning to night.By Rhon Richardson (4 years ago)Come here because my Chihuahua loves it and if she’s happy, I’m happy. Nice little piece of *almost* wilderness I’m town and it’s easy to access. Many different things to do here…. Tennis courts, seating areas, long and winding paved path for walking/running, workout equipment, grassy areas for the pups, pokestops for Pokemon Go players, and playground equipment for your offspring.By Hunter Deerman (a year ago)I felt safe and I enjoyed walking me dog on the trail.By Lakesha Haynes (a month ago)

Stopped in for a night during our travels. Beautiful campsite right on the water. Our pictures don’t give this place justice as the skies were cloudy and it’s a bit cold. But still nice. The place was clean with heated bathhouse and the staff were very kind. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for the experience!
I’m not a local but it seemed like a nice little haven for the city dwellers in the general area. Fishing, hiking, wildlife, pavilions, camping, and playgrounds. We walked the path around the lake, it was a nice but now great. But it was spring with little foliage yet, I believe it will be much more enjoyable with some greenery in the summer. Don’t let me talk you out of going. Any nature is good, go for a walk.
Very quiet, beautiful campground with huge wooded sites with water and electricity, but the bathhouses are aging. They have several docks and gazebos in there park for water access but we were disappointed at the amount of litter along the shore. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We were fortunate enough to be there when a group of dulcimer players were gathered there. They welcomed us to sit and enjoy their music. Great fun.
When we entered the state park for camping, the camp site your assigned isn’t clear in anyway. We just took an open spot as there wasn’t a station with information on a board. Be aware that the road to the campsites has potholes and unpaved, and narrow in areas.
The RV pad is level, paved and clean with beautiful views of the lake. The restrooms at the campsite could definitely use an update.
This was a pretty park at one time.
Now it’s old and run down. There is no grass,, and the bathrooms were clean but musty.. our table was broken. Couldn’t us the bench.. we paid $16 a night. Certainly worth every penny.
The view is beautiful. Maybe Mississippi can put some money into fixing it up.
