  1. Oh my gosh this place is a little gem! I can’t believe many of the locals I’ve talked to about it don’t even know where it is. I think it’s better that way anyhow. But if you love to explore, play disc golf, or just want to check out a sweet playground, go see for yourself how great this place is. They even have one of those little free libraries.

  2. With two kids I can’t take many photos, but this park, is beautiful, it’s perfect for the kids. Also, we love dogs, so we acted like dog stalkers and pet a few. People in Madison is so nice. Thank you so much for making us feel so welcomed. Definitely this is a coming back destination.

  3. Great dog and people park. They have two nice dog parks, with large and small dog play areas. They both include covered seating for humans. The human child play area is very well maintained, and has lots of play structures. They park itself is large, and everything has a nice layout.

The only downside of this place is that it requires you to navigate a maze of neighborhoods to access. Would go again.

  4. This park has it all! Access to the Indian Creek Greenway so you can walk for miles, disk golf, a creek to play in, dog park, and playground for the kids! It’s kinda like a one stop shop for doing outdoor activities.

  5. Really nice trail. No incline but you can get quite a bit of steps in at one time. Good nature to look at as well. Only downside is the days after it rains, it’s typically a lot of mud and water in a few locations on the trail if you’re doing some light jogging or something like that. Otherwise, it’s a good experience.

Beautiful and very serene. Archery range for everyone. I enjoyed access to the Aldridge Creek Green space walkway. You can reach Ditto Landing from here at 3 miles down, 3 miles back.

Beautiful relaxing place to go after work. This park offers quite a lot of commodities as opposed to any other park in the area. It is connected to the walkway as well. Even an archery range and a frisbee golf course. Overall love coming here whether it’s to watch the deer that will occasionally pass by at sunset or if its to go take a relaxing walk by the creek.

Really nice playground with equipment small and safe enough for toddlers to enjoy! Nice pavilions for picnics, right off the Aldridge Creek Greenway. There’s also a little library, Frisbee golf course, archery range, and dog park. Always a fun time!

The picture used is not the actual park, lol. It is under a bridge overpass, and most of the ground is covered in rocks. The grass they do have is basically mud. The people that go there are great, and so are the dogs. Just the rest could be much better.

There’s not alot of grass in the area for large dogs. It’s mostly rocks. There IS a patch of grass and a small patch of dirt that equals to the size of maybe two average sized back yards.. the location itself isn’t too appealing, under an overpass, next to a train track, and running along side a busy street. There IS alot of dog poop, I mean alot.. so keep that in mind.. if you are a responsible owner you’ll notice the poop bags and trash cans… It’s not a place I’d go out of my way to visit, it’s close to where I live, and It’s good enough to allow my dog to run around and play with other dogs…

It’s the dog park with two separate areas for large breed dogs and smaller ones. There is seating to socialize with other dog owners and a couple spots for people less social. There’s running water for the dogs to drink and an area to hose them down if you go on a wet and muddy day. You’re expected to pick up after your dog, but watch where you step, because not all owners are as responsible as you are, though most of them are good about looking after their dogs.

I don’t know why this place got some poor reviews a couple years ago. It’s really great. The trees are leafing out, there is shade, there is water, it’s a huge space which one of my dogs loves, there are usually a good number of nice dogs and people, the parking is good – what’s not to like? Only downsides: no bathroom and a big huge pothole at the entrance – watch out!

The space for large dogs is huge! It has a large grassy area with chairs, picnic table, and a few trees. The area with the water hose is covered with large gravel so you don’t wind up with a muddy mess. There are train tracks running beside the park and railroad crossings that require them to sound their horn which is very loud, so be aware if your dog is noise sensitive.
