  1. Just moved to Hoover and found this place to take my dog. Large, fenced in areas for both small and large dogs to romp around in. Lots of trees and shade to sit out of the sun. There is also a nice area to walk your dog on a leash, as well as a picnic area and playground for families. I imagine it can get muddy after a day of raining, so I would suggest bringing them on a sunny/dry day 🙂

  2. The park is nice and tucked away in a neighborhood. It has a walking trail, large field, playground, covered pavilions and fenced in dog parks. We went for the playground which is in very good condition. It is behind the dog parks. My son loved the jeep and played with it for a very long time. He also enjoyed the swings. I didn’t see any restrooms while there. Only issue I had was parking, I drive a big vehicle and it was a little difficult getting into the very small parking lot.

  3. We stopped here on our way to Panama City Beach to give our 5yr old Golden some exercise. What a great surprise to see so many dogs getting along and having fun. The dog park was a hit with Lucky.

  4. Two dog parks, split from 0 to 35 pounds, and 35 and over. In a bigger park too. Great place. Nice ppl. By a creek

  5. This used to be a nice place. The dog grounds are not kept up and they do not keep the large holes filled. You shortened the large dog side I suppose, due to snakes from the creek. The areas need to be switched. I do however like the walking track. It’s one of the best ro walk your dog.

We loved being outside exploring. There’s plenty of area for your dogs to run and explore. They have a large & small fenced in, off leash area. The only thing I’ll say about that is be in tune to your dogs body language & watch out for other people not managing their dogs. It’s got a lovely little creek to explore as well!

I was very pleased with this dog park. There’s a nice walking trails with a rocky Creek along side. And a separate area for children to play. Will definitely be going back.

We had a great stop here while traveling through AL with our 3 dogs- really nice, clean, well maintained dog park area with small and large dog enclosures. Our dogs had the park to themselves and enjoyed running around; we also stepped out of the fenced area to visit the pretty creek next to it and get a quick doggy dip. Would definitely recommend!

Nice dog park with a creek running right next to it. There isn’t a ton of natural shade in the dog park, but they do have some shades up at least. The creek is pretty flat and shallow for the most part with a bunch of birds and stuff to chase.

This is my favorite dog park in Metro-Bham! Why you might ask? Sure, I’ll share… 1. It’s never overpopulated in the several times we’ve visited thus far. 2. Balls and always present for shared use! 3. Little to no mud at all. The one tiny trouble area has been covered for a while now. 4. Creek that runs alongside the park. 5. Walking trail around the park and another nearby as well. 6. Other parks within walking distance, including a children’s park/playground attached. 7. More grass than dirt. 8. Hugo plays here! Ask about Hugo (the Irish Wolf Hound)! 9. All the fur baby parents are super cordial and monitor their dogs accordingly. 10. Did I say no massive puddles of mud?!!?!? Enjoy!

visited April 2023 This place has 3 different areas, although one was locked and seemingly being cleared of brush. The two available parks were in good condition, with no noticeable holes in the fence or hazards. There were a plenty of obstacles for dogs to explore and tons of space to run. The gate entrances were secure, and all the dogs and humans had good behavior. There are also baseball and other sports stuff nearby, so there’s likely a restroom on premises. Would go again.

My service dog didn’t get more than 1 second to enjoy this park, before someone started screaming at me at why I brought a large dog into the large dog area of the dog park, while the woman next to him held a chihuahua and the man held a dog on a leash, which isn’t allowed inside the dog park. He and the two women who were with them kept screaming at the top of their lungs, so my dog and I just left. They continued to scream even when we were back in the car. Reading the other reviews, it’s not their first time. I’m not exactly surprised, because the park isn’t exactly in the best neighborhood. If you notice a thin man with two fat women, just turn around and come back to the park some other time. It’s not worth your frustration.

I absolutely love this dog park. It has a couple fenced in spots for different size dogs but it isn’t heavily enforced so small dogs can still play with well behaved big dogs. My little mutt loves burning off energy here.

Havent been out here in a while. I really enjoyed being the only one there lol. And the shade from this tree was soo wonderful. I shouldve brought a hammock! Only thing though is you can never find any poop bags in the box.
