- Reviews:Open, part dirt part plants. Main park is a nice size C shape. With the top part having dog obstacles for training or play. Benches to sit for humans. Nice little tree areas with rocks. A water fountain also. Small secondary park for small dogsBy M M (6 months ago)Great dog park! Plenty of shaded areas, dog bowls for water. Pretty well kept. Small and large dog areas, both are decent sized. The entrance is easily missable in the construction area along Quincy.By San Cheung (11 months ago)This is my absolute favorite dog park I’ve been since moving to Colorado. The park itself is huge. There is a section for small dogs that the big dog park wraps around. On the other side is an agility course that my Aussie dominates every time. The dogs are well behaved and so friendly! The owners here know how to read their dogs body language and when to pull their dogs away. We’ve made many friends here!By Amanda Milbrett (a year ago)Grassy, awesome layout with space for furkids to roam and play without always being near other dogs or the entrance. Small dog area as well. Water dispenser, bowls, and some agility equipment in the large dog area.By Jessica Raleigh (4 months ago)Mango loves this dog park! It’s incredibly large and beautiful. If your dog loves to run, this is the perfect place for y’all!By Blake Masters (2 months ago)

- Reviews:It’s a good size park, generally clean, and has lots of balls laying around. The park is 1 large space so your high activity dogs run rampant. I have a tiny 5 pound Pom so I have to be extra vigilant as he gets trampled by these bigger, high energy dogs. Several Pits in the neighborhood as well. All sand, no grass.By O Skurnik (a year ago)People that I totally made up ask me all the time why I don’t take my dogs for walks more often. And I tell all them the same thing. My dogs will literally guilt trip me if I don’t take them to the park to play ball. They like walks just fine. But there not happy unless they’re laying down in muddy pee after running themselves to the point that they can no longer run. This park allows me to throw the ball with a Chuck-It as far as I possibly can, which is much, much further than that loser Tom Brady can throw a football. Seriously, Tom, you had Giselle Bundchen and you chose pride. Great dog park, 5/5 will visit again.By Lucas Goettle (2 months ago)Max, Sabian and me enjoy this park greatly. The owners here watch their pups and keep on them when they misbehave. The sand is clean and there are extra balls laying round for dogs to play with.By Anlie Damber (11 months ago)Plenty of space, shady spots, well maintained, usually lots of tennis balls scattered about. There are plenty of litter scoops hanging on the fences by the trash cans, so no need to waste plastic poop bags. Bring your own water on hot days, just in case the fountain isn’t working!By Samantha New (a month ago)During the summer they have the water fountain fixed, just bring your own bowl since people keep stealing the big ones that were put in the park for the dogs.By Dehra M. Such a great place for small and large dogs alike. Water is usually available depending on the weather. My dog, Buddy, has been able to make friends every time we go! Highly recommend getting a pass to the state park and dog park!
It almost made us sad to come here with our pup, knowing we have nothing that compares to this paradise back home in Montreal. It was amazing to see dogs of all sizes and breeds walking around with their owners living their best lives!
There is an admission fee ($3), we had to use the self-service kiosk because there were no attendants when we arrived. We did park on a neighbouring street off Orchard Ave, so we were able to avoid the parking fee of $11.
We walked the entire perimeter of the park (~90 minutes) at a relaxed pace. There’s an assortment of different obstacles, as well as different trails. Our pup adored cooling off in the stream towards the end of the circuit…there’s many access points, so we’d pick a quieter one next time!
We’ll definitely be back several times during our stay in Denver!
This is a good park, very large off leash area but there is a cost to get in. For a day pass it’s $14 to get into the park and dog park. You can buy a yearly pass as well. Lots of dogs, very friendly owners. Bring water shoes so you walk the creek with your dog. If you decide to walk the non-gated area outside the dog park be careful, there are coyote dens. Keep your dog leashed
Me and my pup always have the best time here. Giant open space with a gravel trail to walk on. Two points of entry: one through the park and one that’s just for the dog park, which is super nice when the line to get into cherry creek is long. There is water and sand for your pups to play and cool down in. Minimal areas of shade, however, and sometimes the bathrooms located near the dog park are gross.
Best dog park I’ve been to in the country. Great socialization. 100+ acres of dog off leash available. Clean. Clean creek for dogs to play in the water. Great park rangers. DO NOT SPEED OR YOU WILL GET A TICKET. 25MPH.
