- Reviews:Separate areas for large and small dogs. Reasonable amount of seating. Kind of a sketchy area with homeless around but they’re camped a minute or so walk away. Street parking only so not as convenient as some parks. Park is fairly busy. Size of park is fine. Probably 3.5 starsBy Ray Gutnick (11 months ago)First time visiting this park with my great dane. Friendly dogs and friendly dog parents. Mostly dirt with some grass. A few benches for dog parents to hang out but no shade which may be an issue during the warmer months but not during our visit. Unfortunately there was quite a bit of poop scattered throughout and even on the sidewalk on the way back to the car. Other than that this was a nice park to visit. Would return here when I’m back in the area.By Jose Torres (a year ago)The Dogs under 25lbs side of the park has so much shade! We love coming here at any part of the day. Even at 2pm, there’s plenty of dogs, weekend or weekday.By Norma Chavarin (10 months ago)Caution: Many many pitbulls. Monday is cleaning day. Some homeless. Confusing parking. No nearby lighting. Sketchy area. Park has many great people. Water fountains, very few park benches. No tables. Plastic bags.By Cris Bravo (3 months ago)Good size dog park in Anaheim! The small dog side has lots of shades and pretty much all grass. The large dog side has lots of dirt area, about half dirt half grass. Wish owners would pick up after their pooch more! No parking lot, just street parking, but it hasn’t been a problem!By Keith Thai (a year ago)

- Reviews:Very clean and nice dog park. People are friendly and pick up after their dogs. Best one in the area in terms of Anaheim and Garden Grove. My dog always has a blast coming here. I prefer it over the Central dog park in HB. The dog park also has great hours. I wouldn’t want to come here when it’s raining though due to the dirt ground rather than grass or wood chips. The park itself is also very beautiful, clean and has large fields of green grass to relax and have a picnic. I enjoy sitting under the very large well kept trees by the paths. 10/10 recommend.By Cynthia Liu (3 months ago)I love this place! It’s fun to meet other people and their cute lil’doggies! My dog is a bit shy, but he still loves to go!! My little dog is much more social and runs around. There’s a side for small and another for larger dogs. I love that, so my lil tiny doesn’t get trampled on 😉By Kristen McSeveney (11 months ago)New dog park in Anaheim. Good amounts of shade in the large dog side. Not a lot on the small dog side, However the dogs don’t seem to care. If you do have a small dog keep an eye out, as hawks like to circle the park. Haven’t see or heard of anyone loosing a small dog to a hawk, but you don’t want to be the first. Also for people in the area (particularly at night) there is a notice that coyotes are regularly in that area. Both sides have double gated entrances to prevent dogs from getting out. As well as drinking fountains for both owners and their pets. They also provide a baggie dispenser for dog waste as well as multiple trash cans. There’s lots of parking by the Maxwell library and by the baseball fields. I’m glad Anaheim is starting to put in more dog parks.By Grant Willis (a year ago)Ok dog park with separate areas for small and large dogs. Lots of parking by the library. Water fountains but not much seating.By Ray Gutnick (11 months ago)This park is pretty good It is very spacious. We can’t control what others do….but I will say this…..if you have dogs on BOTH SIDES of the park, you should NEVER allow your big dog to JUMP OVER to the small dog side!! JUST OUT OF RESPECT, to all the other dog owners that are there….. It’s just like an older child, doing something bad in front younger siblings. Now you’re dog has just “set a bad example” for other dogs that are there. AND YOU ARE JUST RUDE….for allowing it to happen! I only saw this on one occasion and I have been there, a total of 5 times.By Dianna Wethington (a year ago)

I come to this location on Wed since the Orange location which I prefer just based on size/location is closed for cleaning. I have gone to many and this is my 2nd fave. Clean for a dog park. Since it’s sand and fake grass my dog gets less dirty, but unfortunately my only complaint is that it’s just kinda small other it’s wonderful. So thankful that the owners are good about their dogs and also cordial.
Has a small dog area and a large dog area. Small hilly park but nicely maintained. Water fountain and lots of parking
Lovely park with many regulars who frequent here often. We’ve always experienced friendly & social dogs. The park is kept very clean & has a fair amount of shade. Added bonus: public restrooms
Great dog park with two sections, one for large dogs (>25lb) and another for small dogs(
In terms of tranquility and location among the nestled canyons and pines… It’s hard to beat this location. Sparrows and skylarks sing from the surrounding trees while kids yell innocently during recess at the height of a canyon above the park. Unfortunately, but economically necessary, it has the dreaded turf, which retains waste and scents over time, leading my tactile dogs to constantly discover rather than play. WHAT was interesting WAS THAT most of the local and wealthy dog owners seemed to totally disregard the size restrictions for the small dog enclosure, meaning Kobi and Kenji went to the vacated large dog side as they dont relax around large dogs. Kenji, who loves everyone, tried to make friends with the statue on our way out.
