The water is not hot and as such does not clean the film off, even when you use the foam brush. There was a very noticeable six inch dirty vertical stripe down the back of my vehicle after using the automatic this morning. The wash was $18, $4 more than the most expensive wash at the co-op and the wash I received was comparatively sub-par. I think it was a cool thing to do once however I can’t see myself using their service long-term. The truck had about 2 weeks of dust on it prior to the photos attached. Completely missed the back window and every corner and crevice including tailgate, doors, all emblems, bumpers, lights and the grill all still have grime and dust in them. All four tires and rims look exactly like the one in the picture. The wheel wells were untouched and after I got home, I thought about the job it did to the exterior of my truck and wondered what the bottom looked like. As I suspected, it looks almost completely untouched except for the oil pan of the engine. Very well run wand wash! Staff sprays down each bay in between cars, they maintain everything, the price is very reasonable too. There can be huge line ups because this is one of the only wand washes on the east side of town.
This is just my go-to carwash whenever I need to get a fuel at Shell. I usually use the touch less carwash bay for faster wash and if I need to dry up my car real quick. The wash isn’t that really great cause it always leaves more stain. But if you really need to remove excess dirt on your car (but not thoroughly clean) then this is for you.
Went for the first time today. You pull up to a little ticket machine, push a button and it prints you a ticket and opens the garage door. Your time starts as soon as the ticket is printed. You pull in and park in a wash bay stall. Each stall has a high pressure wand with adjustable solutions, a soap brush, a high powered vacuum, and an air compressor for blowing out your locks after. I originally went today just to vacuum out my van, but was ahead of my mental schedule when I finished so I did a quick rinse and wash of the exterior as well. I was in and out in 18min so it cost $18. That being said I worked fast with time in mind. Very reasonable for an interior vacuum and basic exterior wash on a minivan. The water and building is heated. To stop the time you go inside the store with your ticket and pay. Then you pull up to the other garage door and either make eye contact with the store attendant or honk and they will open the door to let you out. Will definitely be back!
Awesome car wash. Clean and well maintained. Courteous staff. Everything works, also used the touch less and does a fantastic job.
I like that I don’t have to prepay for my gas. Employees and management I noticed are always friendly. The only drawback is they haven’t sold me the winning lottery ticket yet lol
