3 months agoHad my first experience here just a couple hours ago and I’ll definitely be coming back! I may even purchase the monthly membership. These folks do a VERY thorough job and I am so pleased with the result.I have two dogs and I’ve never been able to get all the dog hair out of the trunk, despite numerous attempts with a variety of hair-removal tools. I kind of gave up on it and figured it was impossible. When I got here, I saw that they offered pet hair removal for an additional $25 and gave it a go. Wow, I was amazed. I’d say they were able to get 95% of it out, which is 95% more than I thought was possible. I wish I got before and after pictures… but take my word for it!
The inside waiting area offers complimentary cold drinks (a ton of options including beer!!) and ice creams. It’s air conditioned and has a TV. The outside waiting area has plenty of seating and an AWESOME taco truck on-site. I ordered the chicken tacos – super authentic and tasty.
These guys have a new regular customer – great service, comfortable atmosphere, friendly staff!
3 months agoBeen a member since Jan 23 and have loved the services offered. Theyre ALWAYS professional and have an air conditioned lobby to sit or an outside seating area complete with food truck. The wash detail wax and dry are ALL done by hand and the yearly membership was reasonable at 700$, giving me those services at no additional cost on an unlimited basis for a yeara month agoI get my car washed here every couple weeks and they do a fantastic job. While your car is getting well taken care of and thoroughly cleaned, they have a great lobby to hangout in with lots of free drinks and snacks to choose from. Great service and very friendly staff.2 weeks agoI paid $200 for a vacuumed car. I selected a mini-detail which is a $200 car wash (incl tip). I left with a filthy car. the attendant told me it would take 1.5 hours. I told her I had exactly that much time so feel free to cut corners/ sacrifice quality to move fast and get me out in time. An hour later my car had barely been touched. I check in With the attendant to remind her of my time crunch and she told me they were working on it. They were not. I left with a filthy car inside and out. The vacuum job was solid .a month agoTerrible service, this car wash does a horrible job. They had me on a year membership and then stopped cleaning the car properly after the first wash. They advertise they clean the wheels and condition the seats 9 times out of 10 they don’t. Horrible service stay away.

I had an unfortunate experience with another auto detailer in town—they charged me double, rushed the job, and left my truck with noticeable dirty spots both inside and out. It was so bad that I insisted on a refund.Frustrated, I found myself driving south and stumbled upon Palms Car Wash. From the moment I arrived, Craig extended a warm welcome and attentively listened to my story. We went over the specific detailing needs my Tahoe still required, and he presented various cleaning solutions tailored to meet those needs. Craig even personally took the extra steps to shampoo my carpet and buff out some unsightly scratches on my hood.

5 months agoNot only did they completely clean my car and make it look magical. These guys went above and beyond and helped me take off a bad paint spill with the exterior of my car! I tried touching it up with touch up paint which made it way worse but they fixed everything.Best car wash in Austin hands down!!
10 months agoBest car wash in South Austin!I’ve been coming here for 10 years and never been disappointed. Sometimes on Fridays it is a little bit busy and you have to wait in line but other than that there are so many free vacuum stalls and car wash stalls that it can even take a heavy load on Friday on a sunny day after a rain 😁😁😁
The detailing is also a great deal and for only $20 they will wash and hand dry your vehicle. This also includes the rims and the tires which really makes everything pop.
in the last weekI love this car wash!!! I can wash my car by hand.. and they have free vacuums and air sprayer and towels and cleaner for you to use!! Always clean!! Can get busy when the weather is nicer but definitely worth it!!! They also have detailing services if you aren’t a diyer… lola month agoLove this place! Fast and easy with great service. Free vacuums after the wash too. They have every version of car wash – drive-through, self-service, and full service detailing. I love that they dry my car after the drive through!

What a cool car wash!
It has dinosaurs! Even in the automatic car wash! Also the prices are pretty cheap compared to other car washes out there. The automatic car wash smells really good too
There’s an enclosed pet wash area, and three large bays for manual car washes plus vacuums
The only issue as that the lines to go to the manual car wash were pretty long!
Self serve car wash, 3 bays, and 1 automatic car wash. Self serve is $2.50 to start for 3 minutes 30 seconds. Other car washes give you 4 minutes. Soap is good. Many macho customers. Good lighting. Could use a bit more water pressure.
My favorite car wash. I don’t live or work in the neighborhood anymore but it’s still way better here than the car wash down the street (also dinosaurs??? Hello?) The vacuums work and I love that they have little vending machines full of car detailing goodies. This is tangential, but one time a couple years ago I pulled in here with a flat tire and a random stranger pulled a pump out of his truck and pumped it up for me. Don’t know if that has anything to do with the business, but if you see this, thank you dude.
Amazing experience! Be weary that you go into the car wash and the machine moves around your parked car. I got spooked and thought my car wasn’t in park. 😞
I usually go there around 8-9pm and its always empty. Their soaps and appliances are nice. It would be more logical if you were given a limited number of vehicle washing with a monthly membership system, because a quality car wash 4 times a month costs an average of 48 dollars. Other places offer premium unlimited washes for this price.
